Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you visit slot-lounge-australia.com. The short version: we run an editorial site, we collect very little, and none of it is payment data — this site has no cashier and cannot take money from anyone.
What this policy covers
It covers every page on this domain, including the SlotLounge review hub and the guides beneath it. It does not cover the casino operator we write about, or any site you reach through an outbound link — once you leave this domain, the destination’s own privacy practices apply.
It also does not cover anything inside a gambling account. We never see your account, balance, deposits or identity documents. Those sit with the Curaçao-licensed operator behind SlotLounge, and questions about them belong there.
Information we collect
Three categories, and that is the whole list.
Technical data collected automatically. Our server and content delivery network log the pages you open, the time of the visit, the referring page, your general location inferred from your IP address, and your browser and device type. IP addresses are processed for security and bot-filtering, not stored against a personal profile.
Cookie data. Small files your browser stores: one remembers your cookie-consent choice, and a security cookie set by our content delivery network helps it tell genuine visitors from bots. Full details are in the cookies this site sets.
Information you send us voluntarily. Email our editorial team and we receive your address, your name if you give one, and whatever you write. Nothing here asks for a date of birth, a residential address, a document scan, a card number or a bank account — never send those to us.
How we use it
Technical and cookie data keeps the site running and secure: serving pages correctly, catching scraping or attempted intrusion, and troubleshooting faults when something breaks. None of it is used to build a profile of individual visitors, and we do not try to identify anyone by name.
Correspondence is used to answer your message, correct an error you flagged, or handle a copyright or complaint matter. We do not add correspondents to a marketing list, because we do not run one, and we never sell, rent or trade personal information.
Legal basis and the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988)
We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles made under it: we are open about what we collect, collect only what the site needs, use it for the purpose it was collected for, keep it secure, and let you reach and correct it.
For server and security logging, our basis is a legitimate interest in keeping the site available and free of abuse, weighed against how little data is involved. For the consent-preference cookie it is your own choice, revocable at any time. For correspondence it is your decision to write to us.
Cookies and tracking
The site uses a small number of cookies: one keeps pages working and remembers your consent choice, and a security cookie set by our content delivery network screens out bots. Names, purposes and lifespans are listed in the cookie notice.
You can decline the consent cookie in the banner, change your mind later through the same control, or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. The security cookie is required for the site to load safely and can’t be switched off without affecting your visit.
Analytics and third-party services
This site runs no analytics package, no advertising network and no embedded video: nothing here pulls data from YouTube, a social platform or an ad exchange. The one outside processor handling technical data is Cloudflare, our content delivery network, which processes IP addresses to route pages quickly and to separate genuine visitors from bots and scrapers.
Email sent to our contact address is processed and stored by our mail provider so we can read and answer it. Both Cloudflare and our mail provider act only on our instructions and are bound by their own contractual and legal obligations; neither may use what passes through their systems for its own purposes.
Data retention
Server and content-delivery logs are kept for a short operational period, normally no more than ninety days, then deleted. We don’t run analytics, so there is no separate store of visit statistics sitting behind that.
Email is kept while the matter it concerns is live, and routinely for up to two years so we can trace a correction or complaint. Ask us to delete an exchange sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Security measures
The site runs over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. Access to hosting and email accounts is limited to the people who need it, protected by strong unique credentials and two-factor authentication, and software is patched on a regular cycle.
No online system is impenetrable and we will not pretend otherwise. What limits the damage is how little we hold: no customer database, no stored payment details, no identity documents.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act you may ask for access to any personal information we hold about you, and we will provide it or explain why we cannot. You may ask us to correct information that is wrong, out of date or incomplete. You may ask us to delete correspondence and associated data, and we will unless a legal obligation requires otherwise. You may withdraw cookie consent whenever you like.
Requests go to [email protected] and are handled within thirty days. If our response does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au, which oversees privacy compliance in Australia. We would rather you raised it with us first, but you are not obliged to.
Children’s privacy
This site is for adults aged 18 and over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger. If we learn that a message or any other data came from a minor, we delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a child has contacted us should write to the address above.
International transfers
Our hosting and content delivery providers run infrastructure outside Australia, so technical data may be processed on servers in other countries — commonly Europe, Singapore or the United States, depending on which edge location serves your request.
Where information leaves Australia we use providers committed to recognised data protection standards and contractual safeguards. Because so little data is involved and we hold no financial or identity records, the practical exposure is small.
Changes and contact
We update this policy when our tools, our providers or the law change, and the date at the top always shows the current version. Material changes appear on this page rather than as individual notifications, so check back occasionally. Using the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Privacy questions, access and correction requests and complaints all go to [email protected]. Separately, the rules for using this site set out the wider conditions, and you can read about the editorial team or contact us through the about page.
18+ only. Gambling should stay entertainment. If it stops being that, the National Gambling Helpline is free and confidential on 1800 858 858, around the clock.
About this page. Written and maintained by the SlotLounge Australia editorial team. Bonus terms, banking limits and payout times are re-checked against the operator's own pages and public registries; where sources disagree, we say so on the page rather than pick the prettier number.
